Yea, yea I know I talk about emotional stuff, like ALL the time but whether we like it or not, we are emotional beings and our emotions are motivating everything we do.
In business, fear is one of the biggest emotions that keeps us where we are, even if we want to be somewhere else. Good Lordy me, I know all about that fear.
But and I say it again, we do have choices when it comes to our emotions; we always have choices and yes, if we stay where we are but want to be somewhere else then that is a choice we are making.
Now I know very well that we can make excuses and say "Well I can't just get up and leave my job, I have responsibilities OR I have this .. I have that " AND they are very real excuses.
And I say the word BUT yet again; remember
"Our excuses are our beliefs".
Yes I hear you say BUT I DO HAVE RESPONSIBILITIES and yes I hear you.
Just do me one small favour and answer this question -
What emotional state do you feel when you say your excuse?
On a scale of 1 - 10 is there a niggling instead of you that feels a fear of doing what you want to do, even if your responsibility was taken care of?
Is there a core belief hidden at the bottom of this excuse that you could reveal at the same time as taking care of your responsibilities?
If there is a fear of not having enough, become clear on this belief too. That is what it is a belief.
What emotion is tied around it? Is it fear of not having enough for ever? No judgments here, not from me anyway!
Just be aware of it and now lets get a bit more positive!
Become clear on what you would absolutely love to be doing were you not stuck where you are now, or maybe if that is too strong a word to use just change it to,
"What would I do if money were no issue, what path would I be on and what would I be doing?"
It's ok to dream and it is certainly ok to dream big!
Today being day 1 we are answering questions like "Where do I see myself in 3 years"?
When we are pondering on this question we really have to become very clear on what we want. We access our personal truth as we allow ourselves to open up to our own real truth; what we desire as opposed to what we want.
When we come from a place of want we may find when we get what we want, we just want more.
However when we come from a place of desire, which is a completely different place - we find our core drivers. Literally the desire from where we would live if we felt we had no excuses, no responsibilities.
The gem of wisdom is here in this place. When we do what we do from here, it doesn't matter what it is we do, we will find the right way!
Until next time ... keep the faith,
