The Merriman Hotel a 5 Star Experience in Tranquil Kinvara, County Galway.

Situated in the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way The Merriman Hotel blends seamlessly into the tranquil town of Kinvara. It’s a 3 Star, 32 bedroom hotel which boosts the largest thatched roof structure in Ireland. It’s warm and cosy and ideal for a family break or a girls mid week relaxing get away!

Kinvara itself is just 29 kilometres from Galway City and 62 kilometres from Shannon airport. It’s location at the gateway to the Burren, famous for its unique limestone, flora, fauna and dolmen structures makes it a perfect location to stay if you want to explore the many attractions that this area has to offer.

As part of a collaboration with The Irish Blogger Agency I was invited for a mid week break as part of their “Skip the School Run for Endless Fun” campaign I arrived along with my fellow bloggers at the Merriman Hotel at midday. The friendliness of the staff was apparent right from the start of our visit.

Lunch was organised for 1.00 pm and I choose the vegan salad (I am not vegan but love tasty vegan food!) and it filled me up nicely before we headed off with our personal driver Gerry, a local taxi man, for an afternoon of fun and laughs.

Living It Up At #LimerickStyle

We were treated to a full Irish hearty meal with continental influenced croissants for finish.
